"Kobe Bryant Statue Corrections Complete Ahead of Lakers' Final Home Game"

In a race against time, the Kobe Bryant statue outside of Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles received much-needed corrections just before the Lakers' final regular-season home game against the Golden State Warriors. The 19-foot bronze statue, originally unveiled in February, had errors on the marble base fixed, including misspelled names and adjustments to career statistical achievements. Additionally, Bryant's facsimile signature was updated to simply read "Kobe" in tribute to his iconic Lakers legacy.

This iconic monument, a popular spot for fans attending Lakers games, is just the first of three statues planned to honor the late Kobe Bryant. Vanessa Bryant, his widow, revealed that two more statues are in the works—one depicting Bryant in his No. 24 uniform and the other featuring his daughter Gianna, who tragically passed away in the 2020 helicopter crash. As fans eagerly anticipate the unveiling of these additional tributes, the legacy of Kobe Bryant continues to inspire and captivate basketball enthusiasts around the world.
